A stockpile of nappies is only going to last so long. Likewise, babies can sometimes go through multiple sets of clothes in one day and you need to make sure that you have enough no matter what.
Rather than look for everything new, it might be worth seeing what charity shops have. This could be a great way for you to pick up the extra supplies you need, especially for something crucial like clothes.
Charity shops aren’t all used clothes, either; you can often find things that are new and may even still have the tags on them. It might also be a great place to pick up an extra cot or a double pram if you haven’t found one already.
Car Space
If you have children already, now might be the time to upgrade the car. You might be able to pack one or two children into a smaller car, but a growing family needs space in their vehicle. Now might be the time to buy something more suitable.
It might be a smart idea to invest in something with fold-up rear seats so you can always be certain that there will be room for everyone.

Is your house already a little bit cramped? It might not be the most ideal time, but this an expanding family might be the catalyst you need to head out and find that extra bedroom. Small children need enough room to grow.
You also have to consider that your school-aged children need to get a good night’s rest. They can’t be woken up all the time by a restless newborn. Start looking for a new place as soon as possible so you can hopefully be in and settled long before the babies arrive.
