Diary of a Twin Mum

Saturday
Had a disturbed night again!!!! Did try to seek help from dp, via a dig in the ribs, no response!! So once we were ALL up and ready, had a trip to Durham, a lovely market town!! Weather was fab. So we had a bit of retail therapy, ( well I did while dp watched the babes!!) lunch, and a toddle by the river!! Babes were admired all day AS USUAL!! Home for tea, then Rosie and Ben bathed and bed by 7 pm!! Then somehow managed to get ready for a night out, mum babysat!! Home at 12.15am, rather merry, still managed to look at Twinsclub before bed even if it was through one eye!!!!

Sunday
They slept through-YIPPEE!! Only had 6 hours sleep though, not good especially with a hangover!! Joseph went to rugby practice with Martin. I got ready, babies ready, washed up, tidied up, washing in and out, pacified babes, then walked to mums for lunch, about 1 and half miles, the weather was fab again - like a summers day!! Had a lovely lunch, Martin to footy, Joseph to friends, me to Asda - what an exciting life I lead!!! Babes in bed at usual time, I went on Twinsclub for the 4th time today!! So follows a night in front of telly, feet up!! Early night for Martin and I - to sleep!!! Ate too much choccie today due to hangover!!!!

Monday
Not too bad a sleep. Joseph back to school, so one mad rush to get sorted out. Went to work this afternoon, only 5 hrs, not too bad.Mum and dad look after babes for me, I'm very lucky. Rosie a bit poorly when I get home, so she was very weary. After babes were in bed another night in front of tv, only after my visit to Twinsclub!!

Tuesday
A disturbed night due to Rosie being unwell. Haven't done much today, as the rain has arrived. Babes not too happy all day, patience was wearing thin. Did a bit of work on the computer then bed!

Wednesday
At work 8-5pm, then tv dinner and feet up!! Both babies full of cold, poor little pets! Lots of TLC required!!

Thursday
Rosie and Ben slept all night, I know I mention it alot but it has been an issue lately. Took them both to the doctors to get them checked over, both are ok, and have to see how they get on. Did a bit of shopping in town. I must go to more mother and toddler groups , never seem to get time, or get ready for 10 o clock!!! Had friends round for drinks on the evening!! Oh another thing I must start my diet!!!

Friday
Babes a bit better, me, no hangover thank goodness! Out with mum again, must get organised and get babies their first shoes. I'm on my own this evening, so I will watch what I want on tv !! A bit of a boring week really, but always a busy one!!!
