Hope you don't mind a birth story from a Dad.
After several years of struggling to conceive, my wife, Lisa, and I succeeded first time with IVF and were enjoying a wonderful problem-free twin pregnancy. In week 28, a scan showed that one of our twins ('Twin 2') was not growing as fast as he should. 20 Jan 2010 - 8:47pm 0 CommentsI found out I was having twins at 9 weeks. I had an early scan because I was bleeding, so fearing the worst we set off for the scan. When we were told it was twins I remember swearing lots, and telling my husband he would have to give up work, as we had a 1 year old as well!
I had an OK pregnancy suffered with sciatica, but other than that was fine I saw a doctor every 2 weeks to check everything was fine. At 27 weeks the doctor decided to give me steroid injectio....

Alex woke me up early on the Friday morning - I was 37 weeks 5 days - I wanted more sleep so told him to go back to bed. Turning over, I thought I heard and felt a 'pop'. It was confirmed that I was pregnant again when Mollie was 7 months old, but almost immediately I began bleeding. My doctor booked me in for an early scan so off me and dh trotted on Monday morning after a very tense weekend of waiting to see if the 'baby' would make it or not.
