Reaching my 4 (cough) 3rd birthday

I decided months ago to go to London for my birthday as a treat. I wanted to go to the Museums that the children never want to venture into eg British Museum and V&A. I thought about it and then realised that my birthday was a working day and it was unlikely I would be able to go then so I booked my train tickets for the Saturday just before. What I hadn’t realised was that on that precise day thousands of people were making their way to the capital for some slow sight-seeing and some demonstrating.

the year gone by.

So we are now officially in 2011 and we have said goodbye to 2010, but in many ways 2010 was good to me. Our twins started school last year and settled in with no problems, and after saying that when they started school i would become a lady of leisure for 3 days a week. It never happened because 3 weeks after they started and had just gone onto full days, I was offered a job that was to good to turn down and after working in my job for 13 years i left. I went from 15 hours a week to nearly 35 hours and i love it have have settled in just as quick as the girls did at school.lol I turned 30 and have a fabulous holiday in France. I hit my target diet target of getting in a size 16 which i had not been in for a long time, i ha managed to get upto a size 26.

My constant fight against the machine

I am talking washing machine here. Since I have had multiples I have been through 4 washing machines (at least). When child 1 and 2 were little, they needed to be changed a lot. You know what it is like: one feed one change of clothes, multiply that by the number of multiples and you use your washing machine a lot. I did contemplate washable nappies for about 30 seconds and then realised I would not cope with doing extra washing per day.

Then we added child 3 and we went to at least 3 wash a day, every day, more at the week-end.

Twins in cyberland

I reluctantly agreed that child 1 and child 2 could set up an account on the social networking tool of their choice. I warned them of the consequences of having too many false friends and told them about cyber bullying. I set up their profile so it would be as private as I could get it.

Then the terrible (dare I say it) twins were let loose in cyberland.
