[Fun & Trivia] Re: :( back from dropping boys off...
There are only 3 lines in the entire school and the parents always stand about 5 yards away whilst they go in.
[Fun & Trivia] Re: Planning a trip to Legoland - what do we need?
We are off there next thursday and was thinking of taking spare clothes especially knowing my girls as they will want to go on the water rides more than once.. Qbots arent available on the days we are going but hopefully thats because we will have missed the school holiday madness! We are staying in a Hotel nearby so will feed them up at breakfast and try and get away with a bag full of snacks I think..
Have Fun x
[Fun & Trivia] Re: Anyone from here with triplets on Felixstowe beach today?
It was the old Fisons (as in garden stuff) building, it is now up-market appartments.
I know that because my husbands uncle used to work there and he and his family lived in Cobbold Road, which runs alongside.

[Fun & Trivia] Re: Planning a trip to Legoland - what do we need?
We 'drip fed' the boys while waiting in queues so didn't actually stop for lunch - just made sure they were topped up all day! It really is a great day out :)
[Fun & Trivia] Re: Planning a trip to Legoland - what do we need?
Sounds good - have just popped to the shops for lunch.
Can't decide about the q-bots - dh hates queuing with a passion....maybe that's the clincher. Will take waterproofs and a change of bottoms for the kids...just don't want to be lugging around masses of stuff all day.
[Fun & Trivia] Re: am taking the plunge, which flavour fabric conditioner?
Comfort yellow - non offensive and full of sunshine!
[Fun & Trivia] Re: Back to School...They Tricked Me!

[Fun & Trivia] Re: Fizzy - how did the boys get on today?
That is a great start though!! Hopefully they will settle into it soon xx
[Fun & Trivia] Re: Anyone from here with triplets on Felixstowe beach today?
I'd say they were 10 or 11. Think they were b/b/g (although I could only see the boys) because she asked if my 3 were trips too since Mads is so tiny and the boys so big.
They have a young black & white dog called Monty - a spaniel I think. I didn't really stop to chat for long because Jez had Lily leaping about like a maniac and he was keen to press on, you know what men are like!
Cass I didn't think until we got there or I would have suggested meeting up. Mind you, we had the dog with us so couldn't actually go on the beach. We just had fish & chips, a walk along the prom and an ice cream. It was a lovely day.
Actually Cass, you can solve a query for us - the huge red brick building with the fancy chimneys & a green dome, set high up overlooking the sea - is it a hotel? It's massive!! We always call it the Haunted Mansion.
[Fun & Trivia] Re: :( back from dropping boys off...
lining up would have helped, they were just expected to go in and find their way! KS2 is a different end of the school ::o
[Fun & Trivia] Re: Fizzy - how did the boys get on today?
thanks for asking :)
Tom is the happiest he has ever been at school and Jack is too tired to speak! They survived though, now we have to repeat it all tomorrow...
[Fun & Trivia] Re: Planning a trip to Legoland - what do we need?
TBH it depends how much you want to spend. There are 2 water rides I went on both without waterproofs and was fine but damp! you can but ponchos at £3 a pop.
There are big dryers to dry off in £2. I took extra clothes for the kids and changed Jess but not Ben as he liked being wet!
Food wise it is a bit rough and expensive especially if you are veggie. Adult meals about £6.50 kids about £4 inc a drink and bit of manky fruit.
You can get coffee and cakes and chips and icecream etc.
My tip is to get there about 9am and have breakie in the car then get in as it opens do the rides you really want to do first, dragon and log flume thing and laser raiders get long queues as the day goes on. Ignore all free things in the morning and focus on rides. Once they are done they can play in the Pirate training camp and mooch around mini land etc. We got a q bot last time and it was quite good and we did it all by 2pm and left didn't want to hang around much with max.
